- And last but not the least, if you are suffering from a long term knee problem, mainly arthritis, strictly follow your doctor’s orders and go for regular checkups. If need be you might be asked to opt for a knee surgery with old age, but make sure you get a second opinion first before jumping headlong into surgery.
